Any students interested in Youth Parliament, please ensure your permission forms are submitted by Tuesday, April 30th.  Students who have not yet picked up a permission form you should see Mr. Kozak today in Room 208

 

Grade 6 divisional badminton team practice on Monday, April 29th, today, from 3:30 - 4:50.  Come see Mr. Schollenberg in Room 102 to pick up information letter, about the divisional tournament this week.

 

Grade 8 students competing this week in the Master chef Finale, please see Mrs. Kouk at lunch today.

 

Grade 6 Badminton field trip tomorrow.  Please be ready with athletic clothing indoor, shoes, water bottle and a bagged lunch.  They do not have a microwave at the facility.

 

Congratulations to Charlie Kruk, Mya Miller and Hannah Skrabek who all participated in the Manitoba Schools Science Symposium this past weekend.  The MSSS has students in grades 4 - 12 from across Manitoba presenting an original science or engineering project to multiple judges over the course of 2 days.

Charlie received a bronze medal and the Exceldor Award for food sciences, which comes with a cash prize.  Mya received a silver medal, and Hannah received a gold medal, and the best social - studies project in the grade 7 - 8 division.  Well done scientists!!

 

We as the Springfield Junior High Ringette team would like to share we have brought home the GOLD>  These grade 6 - 8 students have participated with positive attitudes, teamwork and comraderies' that should be proud.  Not only did they showcase their skills on the ice,  they respect and sportsmanship on and off the rink.

It was an honor to work with SMS and share in this ringette adventure with such outstanding individuals.  They are great players, but best of all they are shaping into great humans!!
